| Thoughts on your HWC experience:
The HWC 2004 was a dream come true.
Ever since being the 6yr old watching my 2 older brothers workout in the basement at my home while growing up gave me the motivation and commitment that some day I will compete.
Dec 4, 2004 the first ever HWC. The day of the competition was a dream come true! Everyone was friendly and the audience was pretty wild. |
Any other comments you'd like to share.ie dieting, training, etc:
I have learned a lot within my first year of competing. I learned that I need more time to diet because I have found that while I was dieting for the HWC I had started 7 weeks out which was not long enough. I ended up carb depleting myself too much not knowing what I was really doing at the time, but because of this I found that I had showed up looking really flat in muscle fullness. The next time I compete I will compete with a better knowledge!

| Thoughts on your HWC experience:
I thought the HWC experience was one I won't soon forget. A challenge for sure but I would recommend it to anyone with balls enough to do it. You will respect the sport of bodybuilding a lot more after the show. The show itself was great. Congratulations to all competitors that participated and those who put the show off. Great job! |

To do a show your food/diet is the key. I didn't think before I did the show that food was so important. All I would say is to eat lots of clean food, do two 30-45 min sessions for cardio a day, anything more and i think you start to burn muscle.
Keep your weight training hard and rep range between 6 & 10. I wouldn't recommend changing your weight training to drastically. Stick with the basics and remember to just lose the body fat and not the muscle.
Work hard and stick with it, all the struggle will pay off in the end. |
