The Heavyweights Classic is a day long fitness expo coupled with the HWC Bodybuilding and Ladies Figure event.
The Classic is dedicated to the growth of fitness in Newfoundland and Labrador, and aimed specifically at maximizing the satisfaction of all its competitors and the enjoyment of the audience.
The 2006 HWC Expo hosted over 50 competitors, competing in a wide range of events. Twenty eight Bodybuilding and Figure athletes competed in different weight divisions during the morning prejudging and night show finals.
The 2006 HWC has received tremendous support from the Newfoundland Fitness Community and has been highly regarded as one of the biggest fitness events in Newfoundland's history.
